SEASON WINDING DOWN FOR
SPRINTS ON DIRT CHAMPION

With the Sprints On Dirt 2004 Points Championship secured, Dustin Daggett and the rest of the Daggett Racing Team look forward to spending the next couple of weekends close to home.  Ionia Raceway Park, a mere 10 minutes from the Daggett Race Shop, will be the next three stops for the team as the season in the upper Midwest runs down.

First up will be an open 410 race this Saturday night and with most tracks shut down for the season, the competition is sure to be tough.  Expected entries include Kenny Mackey, Eddie Smith, Brett Mann, Greg Wilson, Byron Reed, and Chad Kemenah.  Then on Monday, Sept. 27th the World of Outlaws will return to Ionia for a make-up event from an earlier rain-out this summer.

The following weekend, Sprints On Dirt will sanction the final race of their 25th Anniversary Season when Mike Mouch host the 2nd Annual Michigan 130.

360’s from all over the north east are expected to converge on the fast Michigan half mile to participate in the season closer.
