DUSTIN DAGGETT REPEATS AS
SPRINTS ON DIRT CHAMPION
Dustin
Daggett of Portland, Michigan laid claim to the
Sprints On Dirt 25th Anniversary Tour
Point Championship with a solid third place finish
at Crystal Motor Speedway Saturday night before a
capacity crowd.
Entering
the night’s program, the 21 year old speedster had
the title virtually wrapped up by taking the green
flag in his heat race.
Daggett held the top spot all season long
after capturing the Season opener for the series at
Crystal on April 4th.
During the season, no less than twelve SOD
“A” Main wins were attained along with a
Southern Ontario Sprint Victory at Ohsweken Speedway
in Ontario, Canada in the SOD/SOS CAN/AM Challenge
Aug. 27th and an All Star Circuit of
Champions win at Hartford Speedway Park on July 31st
over a stellar field of 410 sprints.
Dustin’s
second consecutive SOD Championship came in the
family owned Maxim with sponsorship from Tri-County
Collision, BOC Gases, Glass Masters of Portland,
General Signs, and
R & M Building Systems, LLC.
Daggett
Racing now turns its attention to the SOD 25th
Anniversary Season Championship race presented by
CRANE CAMS which will be held on Saturday night,
Sept. 11th at Fred Knight’s Hartford
Speedway Park.
