DAGGETT TAKES LIMALAND OPENER

Dustin Daggett took honors over a 31 car field at Limaland Motorsports Park Friday night. Daggett was chased by Mike Brecht and Mike Miller on an excellent track.

The feature found Aaron Warmork and Mike Miller on the front row followed by Cory Seeling and Ron Blair. Miller asserted himself early and led until the red flag flew for Darren Long's flip in turn two. Dennis Yoakam and Long were racing hard for the same piece of real estate and just ran out of room.

On the restart, Miller jumped out to a nice lead which was quickly eliminated as Tom Conrad Jr. got upside down on top of JR Stewart in turn one. Dwain Leiber and Mark Broughnan were also involved but their damage did not force them to the pits. Miller led Warmork and Mike Brecht back to the green. Brecht passed Warmork and began stalking Miller. After a quick caution, the running order was Miller, Brecht and Daggett. Brecht mounted a charge on Miller and they made light contact on the frontstretch as they completed lap eleven. Daggett seized the opportunity and passed both drivers on the next lap. Daggett pulled away from the dueling Miller and Brecht to pick up the feature win. Brecht, Miller, Cory Seeling, and Tim Allison rounded out the top five.
